My technical strength is architecture and comprehension: designing systems, reading and reasoning about code and specifications across the stack, and connecting what software does to what the law and the business need. Here is exactly what that means — stated honestly.
Software Architecture & Systems Design
I think first in systems — entities, flows, interfaces and the rules that hold them together. That design lens is how I read software and AI patent disclosures, and how I built original architectures such as the Universal Transaction Accountability Framework (UTAF) and its proposed Unified Invoice Interface.
Coding & Full-Stack Literacy
On a Mathematics-Honours base and formal programming-fundamentals training, I read and reason about code across the full stack — front-end, back-end, APIs and data. The value I add is not competing with a senior engineer on raw output, but connecting what software does to what the law and the business need.
Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Tech
A working understanding of machine-learning concepts and applied, responsible use of generative-AI tools in research, drafting, search and analytics — plus the ability to read and analyse AI- and software-related patent disclosures with comprehension.
Digital Public Infrastructure & Fintech
Working knowledge of the rails behind the modern digital economy — used both in research and in teaching business law and taxation, and directly relevant to fintech and payments patent work.

The clearest proof of systems thinking is something you have actually designed. The Universal Transaction Accountability Framework is my own architecture for real-time invoice registration, programmable currency and cross-sector economic transparency — including two original concepts (Invoice Asymmetry and a real-time Price-Monitoring Module) and a proposed Unified Invoice Interface modelled on the success of UPI.

What I am — and what I am not.
It matters to be exact here. On a Mathematics-Honours base and formal programming-fundamentals training (APTECH — Advanced Computer Applications & Computer Programming Fundamentals), I am genuinely comfortable with software architecture, systems design, full-stack application logic, APIs, databases and algorithmic reasoning, and I read and reason about code across languages and stacks.
What I do not claim is to be a senior production software engineer shipping code in every framework. My distinctive value is the bridge — the person who can sit between engineers, lawyers and business owners and translate faithfully in all three directions. For software-patent analysis, fintech and digital-economy research, and technology-and-law strategy, that bridge is often worth more than another pure specialist.
